BULCOTE FARM PLANNING DECISION

At the Newark and Sherwood Planning Committee meeting yesterday 6th October 2020 the application for Bulcote Steading was submitted with a recommendation to approve. Following representations from Bulcote Parish Council and District Councillor Tim Wendels the Committee voted to approve the application by 11 to 3 for the 56 units and 10 to 4 for the 9 units respectively. The Listed Building Consent was unanimously for.

Obviously this is a big disappointment given the effort put in over the past five years to reject the application. The approval does however still require the agreement of the Secretary of State as it includes development within the Green Belt. In addition Highways original objections still remain to be resolved.
