PROPOSED NEW VILLAGE HALL / COMMUNITY CENTRE

With the potential loss of the Bulcote Farm Rooms we have been fortunate in possibly being offered a plot by Ashworths as part of their planned development of the Poultry Farm. Prior to the submission of a formal planning application we are proposing to seek Pre-Application Advice given the sensitivity of the site in relation to views of the Church and its encroachment into Ropers Field and the Bulcote Conservation Area. Initial discussions with the Conservation Officer have suggested that we submit alternative proposals for an agricultural style building and a more modern flat roof structure as shown below. An overriding criteria will be the view of the Church particularly when approaching from the west along Nottingham Rd., (A612).
