Trees on The Ridings

As part of the developing Neighbourhood Plan the grassed highway margin between The Ridings and the A612 Nottingham Road, has been designated as a Local Green Space and an application made for the trees to be the subject of a Tree Preservation Order. A notice was served on the 17 July 2019 for the trees to have TPO status for a period of 6 months whilst consideration is given to making it permanent. Proposed Speed Limit Reduction on A612 between Lowdham and Bulcote

Nottinghamshire County Council Highways managed by Via East Midlands are proposing a reduction in the speed limit to 50 mph on the stretch of the A612 between Lowdham and Bulcote. This is a measure that is supported by the Parish Council who have also sought to have the 40 mph limit between Bulcote Church and the Old Main Road crossroads reduced the 30mph. PEAK DISTRICT MIGHTY HIKE for Macmillan Cancer Support
